It would appear from our common experiences that not everything is known about Continental regiments even though one would think all would be known. But as Ed pointed out a short time ago on this list some of the records (if not all) are reconstructed. I don't think my guy's 14th VA was the same one but apparently a NEW one Von Steuben put together getting recruits ready for the Continental Army. Best Regards David Armstrong Elkins, WV
