He died after 1830. James FARMER born 1758 in Montgomery County area that became Grayson County VA. His wife was Susannah. he died in Carroll County VA, 12 Aug 1838. Debbie There are two Thomas Whitlocks in Eckenrode with residences listed. One from Brunswick and one from Halifax Co. A third entry doesn't gove a place of residence.
