Another articles says Germanna is in Orange County, VA. Culpeper Co., was established in 1748 from Orange Co., Thus Germanna was first in Orange Co. in the area that became Culpeper Co., VA. St. Marks was the parish in northern Culpeper Co., so could have been in Orange Co. earlier. It all seems to fit. Best, Hugh
