Stephen, try this web site; it appears to be the site of a Seattle chapter. Good luck. Our chapter in Kentucky is attracting members nearly monthly right now. Three or four of us meet at the library each Wednesday afternoon for a couple of hours to help people with applications, as well as help with their research. We do what it takes to attract new members, including streamlined meetings, interesting speakers, worthwhile projects, good public relations and publicity. http://www.rootsweb.com/~wamgcdar/ If this doesn't work. I typed DAR Seattle into my browser and found the site for the state organization and then a list of chapters, including one in Seattle.
