List, I would like to identify Lt. Gen. John MUNSELL mentioned in the 1815 NY newspaper announcement of his widow's death below. It is curious to me that, *in 1815*, this man would be described as being of His British Majesty's Service. If anyone has any suggestions on how I could research a member of His B. M. Service of this era, could you please pass on some tips?
