THIS ISN'T A HOAX. My cousin (!) has just informed me that he may have infected my computer with a virus. I checked and sure enough it was hiding away in WINDOWS/COMMAND. I am sending this note to everyone I have E-mailed recently to see if it has been passed on. PLEASE CHECK USING THE FOLLOWING METHOD TO FIND AND DESTROY IT It is named 'sulfnbk.exe' You do not have to open it for it to work. Apparently, it lays dormant on your hard drive and at some indeterminate time in the future attacks and destroys parts of your C drive. 1. Go to 'START' then to 'FIND' or 'SEARCH' 2. In the 'search for files or folders' type sulfnbk.exe 3. In the 'look in' section make sure you are searching the C DRIVE 4. Hit 'search' or 'find' 5. If your search finds this file, it will be a black ugly icon and will be named sulfnbk.exe.....DO NOT OPEN IT !! 6. Right click on the file go down to 'delete' and left click. 7. You will be asked if you want to send the file to the recycle bin - Say 'Yes' 8. Go to your DESKTOP where all the icons are and right click on the recycle bin. Then empty the entire contents. 9. If you found this virus on your system you need to send this message to everyone you have E-mailed in the last say 3 months. 10. If it did not show up on your first 'search' try a 'new search' to make sure. Sorry for the hassle if you have been infected.
