Does anyone happen to have a copy of the Rev. War pension file for a Henry Holdaway, b. 1853 in Culpeper Co., who moved to Wilkes Co., NC by 1810? I have the first ten pages of the file from Heritage Quest, but am trying to find out if he lists his other children in the other part of the file. He does list the two youngest daughters in the first part, but I'd like to know the names of his other children. Also, if anyone is a descendant of Henry and is working on this line, I'd love to hear from you. Here's the part of the file specifically about his military service: "Henry Holdaway enlisted in the Rifle Regiment in Culpeper County in the State of Virginia on the 17th day of August 1776 in the company commanded by Captain Gabriel Long of said rifle regiment commanded by Col Daniel Morgan that he continued to serve in said corps or in the service of the United States untill the month of September 1779 when he was honourably discharged from the service at Pumpton Plains in the State of New Jersey and that he was in the Battles of Trenton, Princeton and was at two battles on the Hudson River against Genl Burgoine and the battle of Monmuth together with thirteen skirmishes and that he is in reduced circumstances and stands in need of assistance from his country for support" Gail Rich Nestor Smyrna, GA http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~nestorgenealogy/
