Series: M805 Roll: 213 Image: 103 File: S42134 Rev War Pension Application: Phillip Conner enlisted 1775 Hampton Co VA Filed for pension 25th day of March 1828 from Jennings Co Indiana. Listed as a resident of this county per his own statement. Age at that time was 74. Served a total of 5 years on the VA line. Per his statement he lost his wife in 1815 and was being supported by his son (unnamed). He states he sold his pension land due to not being able to complete payments (? doesnt make sense to me, but that's what it says). Occupation listed as farming prior to deteriation of his health and advancing age. Small note on paperwork states he was wounded during his service in the right (side?). No further info of family is given except to state that he feels he is a burden on his son who has a "burdensome and young family" to care for. No names are given. There is no mention of KY in this entire document. One document is dated 1819 and filed in Hamilton Co Ohio. It states the pensioner is a resident there.
