    3. I'm researching: My Charles Bodkin, Private, 13th VA. And Capt. David Scott, Captain, 13th VA. I have some questions regarding records from the land office of Virginia pertaining to bounty land warrants issued for Revolutionary War service. >From the Library of Virginia Archives I have documents dated 1806 that show Capt. David Scott stating that Charles Bodkin enlisted in his company for three years. Charles Bodkin advances his bounty warrant to Capt. Scott. These documents have "Land Office" and a reference to "William Price" who is to advance the warrant. Charles Bodkin and David Scott sign their names so both were present. 1) Does Land Office mean they were in fact in the VA Land Office and if so where was it located? 2) Does anyone know who William Price was and where he was located? 3) Name of the VA land commissioner in 1806? Both Bodkin and Scott were living in Harrison County, VA in 1806. General comments are welcome. Mark Thanks
