I'm looking for sources for detailed information on this company where my Rev. War veteran, Pliny KELLOGG enlisted in 1777. He was born in Westfield, MA in 1752 and died in La Grange, Lorain Co., OH in 1842. He was placed on the pension roll of Jefferson Co., NY in 1818. 'Family lore' says, He was a revolutionary solider; was present at the surrender of Gen. Burgoyne; was also in the battle of Monmouth. There were two men of this name in Sheffield (MA) and to distinguish them one was called 'Big Plin' and the other 'Little Plin." This was 'Big Plin." Thanks! Pat J.
