Linda, Sally Huff (b 1841) married my great grandfather, John Walker Amburgey (1837-1893). Until today I was always told she was my great grandmother. However, what I am finding are reports that state she died in 1886 and my grandmother was born in 1891! I am of the Knott County Amburgey's. Mom told me that there were two branches of Amburgey's that came to this country from Germany. The first one of our clan to arrive was Hans Conrad Amburger and I believe he came here in 1717.
