The following obit was sent to me by my Combs cousin, Vivian Moon, who lives in Middletown, OH Carter AMBURGY, Roger Age 53, of Mississippi, died Sunday, February 27, 2005 at the University of Mississippi Hospital. Born November 23, 1951, in Middletown, Ohio the son of Claude and Betty (Deaton) Amburgy, he graduated from Wingfield High School in Jackson, Mississippi and was a building contractor. Preceded in death by his father, Claude Amburgy and sister, Phyllis Amburgy. He is survived by wife, Edith Muse of Mississippi; dear mother, Betty Amburgy of Kentucky; sisters, Charlotte (Martin) Jacobson of Argentina, Teresa (Jerry) Gilmore of Missouri and Donna (Mike) Price of Kentucky and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Visitation and funeral service held Thursday March 3, 2005 at Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home, Lebanon with Bro. Jeff Oeder officiating. Burial was in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon.
