Pierce W. Allwein, born June 2, 1859, died June 19, 1926, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, PA. Buried June 23, 1926 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lebanon, PA He was the son of George "Elijah" Allwein and Angeline Arentz. Allwein Manuscript PIERCE, - son of Elijah and Angeline (Arentz) Allwein learned the blacksmith trade with Philip Fink near Mount Zion, worked at the trade for some time. Married Agnes, daughter of Ambrose and Catharine Arnold. They reside at Sweet Home, Lebanon, PA and Mr. Allwein works at the East Lebanon Rolling Mills. Lebanon Daily News Saturday Evening June 19, 1926 PIERCE W. ALLWEIN Death at 8:25 o'clock this morning, claimed a well-known resident of Lebanon in the person of Pierce W. Allwein, who passed away at the Good Samaritan hospital. He resided at 401 East Cumberland street. His was was 67 years. For years he was engaged as an iron worker. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and St. Mary's I. C. B. U. Those who survive are: his wife, Agnes; two sons Charles and Paul of Lebanon; daughter, Mrs. Harry Swope, of Lebanon, two brothers, Charles, of Reading, and Philip of Lebanon; sisters, Misses Margaret, Mary and Jennie Allwein, and Mrs. Jerome Arnold. Lebanon Daily News Wednesday Evening June 23, 1926 PIERCE W. ALLWEIN Last solemn rites were held this morning in St. Mary's Catholic church at 9:00 o'clock, for the late Pierce W. Allwein 401 East Cumberland street. The Rt. Rev. Monsr. A. Christ officiated. Interment took place at St. Mary's cemetery. P. H. Thompson Sons were the funeral directors.
