A. ALLWEIN WED IN LUTHERAN CHURCH A double ring ceremony united in marriage Miss Judith Ann Folmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart R. Folmer, 333 S. Second St., and James Kreider Allwein, son of Mrs. Sally E. Allwein Tuck and Nowlen Sts., and the late Kenneth Allwein, in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Sunday afternoon at four o'clock. The Rev. Jacob E. Rudisill officiated at the double ring ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of silk organza over taffeta styled with a Bateau neckline and bell shaped skirt ending in a court train. The skirt was trimmed with appliqued Alencon lace. Her headpiece was a pillbox of silk organza over taffeta trimmed with lace to match her gown. An elbow length silk illusion veil was attached to her pillbox. She carried an old fashioned bouquet of white daisies and lilies of the valley. MAID OF HONOR Miss K. Suzanne Gilbert, Millersville, PA., college roommate of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Russell T. Showers, Jr. and Miss Louise K. Yorty, friends of the couple. Miss Sally Ann Allwein, sister of the groom, were junior bridesmaid. All attendants wore yellow gowns of pure silk organza over matching taffeta linings. They were styled with fitted bodices, scoop necklines and bell shaped street length skirts. Their matching Dior bows of silk organza were attached to circular face veils and they carried old fashioned bouquets of multi-colored daisies and white baby's breath. Robert Allwein brother of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Russell T. Showers, Jr., Michael Scott, friends of the couple, and Roy R. Folmer, cousin of the bride. CHURCH DECOR The church was decorated with bouquets of white flowers in the alter vases and baskets of white flowers in front of the altar, ferns, palms and candelabra. White pew markers and the white bridal carpet were used. Ronald Davis, Coatesville, organist and Jere Moser, Lancaster, soloist, provided the wedding music. The mother of the bride was attired in a dress of leaf green eyelet with white accessories and a yellow rose corsage. The groom's mother wore a pale blue dress of imported Irish linen with white accessories and a white rose corsage. A reception was held at the Myerstown American Legion Home for 200 guests. The couple is motoring through the southern states for two weeks and will stay at Miami Beach, Fla., for a week. They will reside at 801 Rex Ave. For traveling, the bride chose an orange flowered dress and bone accessories. LHS Graduate The bride is a graduate of Lebanon High School, class of 1958, and Millersville State College, class of 1962. While in college she was chief accompanist for the college choir and active in Special Education Club and Student Pennsylvania Education Association. She is employed by the Lebanon City School District as an elementary teacher. The groom is a graduate of Cornwall High School, class of 1957, and Lincoln Technical Institute, Newark, N. J., class of 1960. He was president of the Student Council and an active member of the band and chorus in school. He is employed by his grandfather, Irvin K. Kreider, plumbing and heating contractor.
