Arnold was the son of Herman Arnold and Elizabeth Smith/Schmidt Mary Elizabeth Arnold married Charles F. Foster. He was born on January 5, 1853 and he died in 1930. His parents were James Forster and Katherine McGlade. The children: Sarah Agnes Foster born May 24, 1873 Lebanon County, PA died 1963 and married Edward J. Murray. MARY E. FOSTER Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Foster, wife of Charles Foster, and daughter of the late Philip and Rebecca Arnold of this city, died 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed. Murray,of a complication of diseases, suffering for the pas seven years. She was aged 74 years. The deceased was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic church and was loved by her many neighbors and friends. She leaves to survive her husband, Charles Foster, and the following children, Charles Forster, Jr., of Easton; James and Philip, of Lebanon; Mrs. E. J. Murray, of Lebanon; Mrs. Fred. Meischeid, of Easton; twenty-two grandchildren, two great-grand children, two brothers, John Vincent Arnold, of Lebanon; Phillip of Binghampton, Iowa; three sisters, Mother Dominico, of Binghampton, Iowa; Mrs. Henry Loy of Lebanon, and Mrs. John Glennon, of Baltimore. Funeral on Wednesday morning, at 8.30 o'clock from the late residence 128 South Fifth Street. Services at 9.00 A.M. in St. Mary's church. Interment at St. Mary's cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend without further notice.
