John Vincent Arnold, 83, died Monday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Agnes Swett, 1359 North Twelfth street, Reading. Mr. Arnold was a former resident of Lebanon. Shortly after the death of his wife, Elizabeth, ten months ago, he went to Reading to make his home with is daughter. He was very well known throughout this city as a cabinet maker, having pursued that trade for many years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, the Holy Name Society and St. Patrick's Beneficial Society. Besides Mrs. Swett, his daughter, he is survived by four sons: William H.., David A., and Paul V., of this city, and Adam M., of Mt. Vernon, N. VINCENT ARNOLD IS BURIED THIS MORNING Four sons and two sons-in-law, William H. Arnold, Paul V. Arnold, Adam M. Arnold, Arthur Sweat and Augustus Schuavel, this morning officiated as bearers at the funeral of J. Vincent Arnold. Brief rites were conducted at the home of a son, William H. Arnold, at 8:30 o'clock at 502 Chestnut streets, and a requiem mass was conducted at 9:00 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. Father Joeph Smarsh, assistant rector, officiating.
