He is the son of John Vincent Arnold and Elizabeth Bross Lebanon Daily News Thursday Evening March 19, 1936 PAUL V. ARNOLD DIES IN HOSPITAL AT PHILA Paul V. Arnold, 54, of 10 North Eighth Street, for more than three years sexton of St. Mary's church, died shortly after eleven o'clock last night at the Miaracordia hospital, Philadelphia. Death followed a major operation. The popular sexton had been a patient in the Philadelphia hospital for the past seven weeks. Word of his death was received with a great shock by his numerous friends and fellow worshippers at St. Mary's. He was also a prominent member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Loyal Order of Moose. He leaves to survive his wife, Katherine; three brothers, Willaim H., David, of Lebanon; Adam, of Mt. Vernon, New York, and a sister, Mrs. Esther Sweet, also of Mt. Vernon. Lebanon Daily News Monday Evening March 23, 1936 PAUL ARNOLD BURIED IN HOLY CROSS CEMETERY The funeral of Paul V. Arnold was held this morning from the W. H. Arnold home, 508 Chestnut Street, at 8:30 o'clock with a solemn requiem high mass at nine o'clock in St. Mary's church. Rev. john T. McPherson was the celebrant; Rev. John J. Lawley, deacon and Rev. Anthony Kane, sub-deacon. Bearers were: Philip Arnold, Harry Lawless, Joseph Loehle, George Arnold, Romanus Arnold, and Arthur Sweet.
