Ditzler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul W. Ditzler, 1023 Walnut St., will become the bride of Charles B. Allwein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard W. Allwein, 628 S. Second St., at two o'clock this afternoon. The wedding will take place in the Church of the Assumption of B. V. M. with Rev. Anthony E. Burakowski officiating in the double ring ceremony. Mrs. Helen Katos, organist, and Edward A. Anderson, soloist, will present the music. Out-of-town guests will attend from California, Ohio, Rhode Island, Virgina and Pennsylvania. The bride, a graduate of Lebanon High School, class of 1956, is employed by Lebanon Valley College, Mr, Allwein is an alumnus of South Lebanon High School class of 1954. He was recently discharged from the United States Navy. Mr. Ditzler will present his daughter in marriage. She will be wearing a full length dress of lace and tulle. The lace bodice was a scalloped Sabrina neckline edged with iridescent and has short sleeves with matching gauntlets. Sequin and pearl embroidered lace motifs adorn the bouffant skirt of tulle. A tulle bustle back is arranged over a cascade of scalloped, tiered lace to form a chapel train. She will wear a crown of sequins over lace with a white veil, and she will carry a cascade of orchids and pompons. Miss Mary Agnes Allwein, sister of the groom, will serve as maid of honor. Bridesmaids will be Miss Fay M. Kohr, cousin of the bride, and Miss Jean V. Fox, friend of the bride. The flower girl will be Patricia A. Minnich, cousin of the bride. The maid of honor and bridesmaids will wear floor - length gowns of white nylon sheer with Empire bodices and short, puffed sleeves. pastel bias folds band the neckline, sleeves and bell-shaped skirts. Their headpieces are crowns with sequins and veils. The maid of honor will carry a cascade of lilac carnations and the other attendants will carry matching cascades. The flower girl will wear a floor length dress of lilac nylon chiffon with a draped bodice, full skirt and back streamers. She will carry a basket of white and lilac flowers. William F. Allwein will be best man for his brother. Serving as ushers will be James H. Barry, friend of the groom, and Carroll E. Ditzler, brother of the bride. Michael R. Hershour, nephew of the groom, will carry the rings. The bride's mother will attend in a beige dress with light blue accessories. The mother of the groom will wear a light blue dress and matching accessories. Both will have corsages of red roses. A reception for approximately 250 guests will be held at the Friendship Fire Hall, after which the couple will leave on a motor trip through northern Pennsylvania, New York, and Canada.
