Lebanon County, PA Christened APril 9 1857 by Father Schwartz Died July 22, 1919 at 553 Weidman St., Lebanon, PA Buried July 25, 1919 buried in Lebanon, PA She was the daughter of John "Edward" Allwein and Elizabeth Arnold Lebanon Daily News Monday October 9, 1899 JOHN ZWEIER John Zweier died Sunday evening at his home, Front and Weidman streets, of general debility, after a year's illness. He formerly engaged in farming in North Lebanon township and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church. A wife and seven children survive him. He was 45 years old. Allwein Manuscript AGNES C. - Daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Arnold ) Allwein married John son of Joseph and Elizabeth Zweier September12, 1876. Mr. Zweier lived on his father's farm near Prescott and cultivated this until after his fathers death when he purchased the farm. Through some misfortune several years after the purchase Mr. Zweier was forced to sell after which he moved with his family to Lebanon, PA and done laboring work in the rolling mills of East Lebanon. Early in the year 1899 he was taken sick. Medical aid availed not and after lingering about seven months he died. Daughter AGNES CATHARINE, born in Bethel Township, Lebanon Co., Pa March 17, 1856. Baptized April 9th, 1856 by Father Schwartz. (The first section of the Allwein Manuscript has her born in 1857). Lebanon Daily News Wednesday Evening July 23, 1919 MRS. AGNES ZWEIER As a result of grief and the shock caused by her sister's death, which occurred on Monday, Mrs. Agnes Zweier, of 553 Weidman street died suddenly at her home at 2:40 P.M. Tuesday. The sister, Miss Emma Allwein, passed away on Monday at 3 P.M. The deceased was aged 63 years, and her death came as a great shock to the family. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church. The survivors are as follows: Sister Luigi, of Nazareth, Kentucky, a sister of the deceased; brother, Jerome of Philadelphia, and Theodore, of this city. Also the following children: Mrs. Harry Bowman, of Providence, Rhode Island; Mrs. Dan Sullivan, John Zweier, Steven Zweier, of the U. S. Navy, George, of Philadelphia, and Agnes, at home. Lebanon Daily News Friday July 25, 1919 MRS. AGNES ZWEIER The funeral services for the late Mrs. Agnes Zweier, of 553 Weidman street, were held today at 9 A.M. in St. Mary's Catholic Church.
