    3. Hi Nancy, Day-date calculations are fairly straightforward. I do not have a table here in front of me, but I'm sure you can find one on the web or at just about any library. The calendar we use has a 28-year repeat cycle (i.e. this year's calendar is the same as the one 28 years ago etc.), so there aren't that many possibilties. I read an really interesting book on this topic over the Christmas holidays by Stephen Jay Gould, called Questioning the Millennium: A Rationalist's Guide to a Precisely Arbitrary Countdown. It doesn't have the tables in question, but I'm sure if you look up an entry on the Gregorian calendar you can find what day of the week Oct. 14, 1992 happened to fall on. Or any date for that matter. Good luck.
