Charles Theodore Allwein, son of Theodore Henry Allwein and Catharine A. McCann Lebanon Daily News Tuesday December 18, 1856 CHARLES ALLWEIN, 72, DIES AT ANNVILLE HOME Charles T. Allwein, 72 died at 9:05 o'clock last night at his home, 125 North Lancaster St., Annville, of a heart attack. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Annville. He belonged to the following organizations: Holy Name Society, St. Vincent De Paul, Knights of Columbus, St. Patrick's Association, The Guild, Lebanon County Firemen's Association and the Union and Rescue Fire Companies of Annville. Allwein's wife, the former Catherine Treist, preceded him in death 14 moths ago. He was a son of the late Theodore and Catherine (McCann) Allwein. Surviving are these children: Esther, of New Freedom, PA, Mabel, at home; Charles R., Lebanon, Mark T.., Cleona: Irene, wife of Harry Tice, Pine Grove; Catherine, wife of Joseph W. Hoke, Rocherty and Edith, wife of Leroy Stelzer, Bunker Hill. He also leave a sister, Mrs. Stella Shaud of Annville, 32 grandchildren, 49 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Allwein, late of 125 North Lancaster St., Annville, were held this morning from his home. Requiem High Mass was celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Annville, with Rev. Paul E. Adair, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment was made in Holy Cross Cemetery. Bearers were Eugene Seltzer, Earl Seltzer, George Allwein, Victor Allwein, Harry Light, and Joseph Hoke. P. H.
