Elmer is the son of Philip J. Allwein and Elizabeth "Lizzie" E. Blouch Lebanon Daily News ELMER ALLWEIN Funeral services were held Tuesday in Flint, Mich., for a former Lebanon resident. Elmer Allwein, 72, of Flint, Mich., died there Saturday. He was the son of the late Philip and Elizabeth Allwein. A retired employee of the Jones and Laughlin Steel Corporation in Pittsburgh, he worshiped in the Catholic faith. Surviving are his wife, Naomi Allwein; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Simone, Flint, Mich., and Mrs. Margaret Gorin, Pittsburgh; three sisters Mrs. Bertha Barry, Lebanon,and Helen and Margaret Allwein, Harrisburg, and a brother Raphael, Lancaster.
