Lebanon Daily News, Lebanon, PA Friday April 14, 2000 Dorothy G. Sherer Dorothy G. Sherer, 83, of 3240 Joyce St., Lebanon, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at her daughter's residence in Harrisburg. She was the wife of the late Henry W. Sherer. Born June 12, 1916, in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Francis G. and Mary C. Albright Arnold. She was a retired employee of the Lebanon VA Medical Center, a volunteer at Cedar Haven Nursing Home, a long standing member in a card club, and an avid bingo player. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Annville. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia M., wife of Ralph Carmody, Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters Josephine Kiscadden and Mary Folmer, and brothers Paul, Clarence and Raymond Arnold. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. Ninth St., Lebanon, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 125 S. Spruce St., Annville. Viewing hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Christian burial vigil at 8 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
