Lebanon Daily News, Lebanon, PA Saturday February 23, 1963 JOAN ALLWEIN IS BRIDE OF CHARLES FETTER Miss Joan Marie Allwein, 427 N. Gannon St., will become the bride of Charles G. Fetter, 146 S. Fifth Ave., during a ceremony at eleven o'clock this morning in St. mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Anthony W. Hebb will officiate the double ring service. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Sara Allwein, 427 N. Gannon St., and Raphael Allwein, Harrisburg. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fetter. BRIDE'S ATTIRE Given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Donald Kern, the bride will be attired in a floor length gown of bombazine and Chantilly lace styled with a lace bodice, Sabrina neckline trimmed with iridescent and seed pearls and long sleeves tapering to points over the wrists. The bouffant two - tiered skirt is edged with scalloped lace and is accented with three bombazine bows. Her fingertip length veil of imported silk illusion is attached to a crown of scalloped lace edged with seed pearls. She will carry a white Bible centered with white roses from which fall white satin ribbons. Miss Jacqueline Burch will be maid of honor. The bridesmaids are Miss Mary Magazino and Miss Dianne Darkes. All the attendants are friends of the bride. BLUE ENSEMBLES All the attendants are wearing gowns of light blue organza over taffeta designed with sleeveless bodices and A-line skirts. The gowns have matching jackets with short sleeves. Their headdresses will be rosettes of entwined tulle trimmed with seed pearls to which are attached face veils. They will carry baskets of blue and white carnations. Richard Allen, friend of the groom, will be best man. Ushers are Richard Steiner, brother-in-law of the groom, and William Bleistine, brother-in-law of the bride. Mrs. Helen Katos will be organist and Mrs. Elizabeth Magazino soloist. Mrs. Allwein, mother of the bride, is wearing a white dress with gold and silver trimming and corsage of red roses. The groom's mother has chosen a beige jersey dress with green flowers and brown accessories. Her corsage will be of white roses. RECEPTION A reception at the Gertrude Club for approximately 250 guests will follow the ceremony. After the reception, the couple will leave on a wedding trip and upon their return will reside at 4427 N. Gannon St. For going away the bride has selected a navy blue and white suit with matching accessories and corsage of white roses. Guests have been invited from New Jersey, Florida, California, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The bride, a graduate of Lebanon Catholic high School with the class of 1962, is employed as a desk clerk at the Good Samaritan Hospital. The groom, a graduate of South Lebanon High School with the class of 1959, is with the U. S. Marines, station at Quantico, VA. Cousin Nancy
