David William Allwein Lebanon Daily News, Lebanon, Pennsylvania Saturday April 27, 1974 COUPLE MARRIED IN MYERSTOWN Debra Ann Dowhower, 12 Boyd St., Cornwall, became the bride of David William Allwein, 10 W. Richland Ave., Myerstown, today at 4:30 in Mary Gate of Heaven Church, Myerstown. Parents of the couple are Mrs. Charles Doll and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Allwein. Officiating was the Rev. Stephen A. Sheetz. Music was performed by the church choir and Maria Carpenter, organist. A reception was held at the Myerstown American Legion. It was attended by 200 guests. A 1973 graduate of Cedar Crest High School, the bride is employed by Cornwall manor. The groom, a 1973 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School, is an employe of the Calcite Quarry. The couple will live at 222 W. Main Avenue, Myerstown. John Bankey gave his sister in marriage. She wore a silk organza white and yellow floor length gown with lace trim on the skirt and chapel train. A mantilla edged in matching lace was attached to a camelot headpiece of cluny lace. She carried a cascade of white carnations, yellow roses and baby's breath. Miss Barbara Kline was maid of honor. She was seen in a floor length gown of lemon crepe and a matching picture hat with elbow length veil. Her colonial bouquet was of white roses, mint green tinted carnations, yellow marguerite daisies and baby's breath. Dressed similarly in peppermint were bridesmaids, Miss Gayle Brightbill, Miss Karen Carpenter and Mrs. Rose Ann Livering; junior bridesmaids. Miss Lori Ann Bankey, the bride's niece and the flower girl, Miss Melissa Moore, the groom's niece. The bridesmaids carried colonial bouquets of yellow roses, pale yellow carnations, mint green marguerite daisies and baby's breath. The junior bridesmaid had a nosegay of similar flowers and the flower girl carried a fireside basket filled with yellow sweetheart roses, white marguerite daisies, yellow elegance carnations and baby's breath. Larry Kemble served as best man. Ushers were Floyd Brandt, Richard and Robert Allwein, the groom's brothers. The ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Robert Bankey. Cousin Nancy
