Elizabeth "Betty" J. Manderbach Allwein The Daily News Monday July 26, 1993 ELIZABETH J. ALLWEIN Elizabeth J. Allwein, 68, of 10 W. Richland Ave., Myerstown, died Sunday, July 25, 1993, in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Theodore W. Allwein. Born in Myerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Ida Wenger Langenbach. She was a member of Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Myerstown. She was a member of the Historical Society of Lebanon County; the Pennsylvania Chapter, Palatines to American, Columbus, Ohio; and the Pennsylvania German Society of Breinigsville. Surviving, in addition to her husband are sons Robert T. Allwein, Richard A. Allwein and David W. Allwein, all of Myerstown; daughters Sandra, wife of Lawrence R. Whitman, Lebanon, Linda, wife of Howard R. Moore, Myerstown, Constance, wife of Malcolm Stephens, Alburquerque, N.M., Bonita L. McCurdy, Jonestown RD 2, and Ramona L. Allwein, Myerstown; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson Lawrence R. Whitman Jr. and a sister Mildred Manderbach. Heintzelman, pastor of Mary Gate of Heaven, Myerstown, officiated. Interment was in New Union Cemetery, Myerstown, with Robert Allwein, Richard Allwein, David Allwein, Brian Allwein, Howard Moore, Terry Moore and Ryan Allwein serving as pallbearers.
