Born in North Annville, she was the daughter of the late George and Stella Allwein Shaud. She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Annville. In addition to her husband she is survived by four sons: Frederick, Lebanon: Charles, Lebanon: Robert, Myerstown and Arthur, Jonestown: a daughter, Anna Mae, wife of Harry Kreiser, at home; 12 grandchildren; five sisters; Kathryn, wife of Anthony Gerstner, Lebanon; Stella, wife of Stewart George, Lebanon; Bessie, wife of William Heilman,Lebanon; Esther, wife of Paul Westhafer, Cleona; and Mabel, wife of Dale Bixler, Fredericksburg. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion, the Mt. Zion Fire Co. and the Rural Security Fire Co.
