Arnold The Patriot News Wednesday March 18, 1998 JAMES E. ALLWEIN LEBANON - James E. Allwein, 79 of Spang Crest Manor died there Sunday. He retired from the Lebanon plant of Bethlehem Steel Corp.; was an Army veteran of World Way II; a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Annville, and a former member of Annville American Legion Post 559 and Friendship Fire Company. He was the widower of Anita Sullivan Allwein. Surviving are two sons, Joseph P. and Steven P., both of Severa Park, MD,; three daughters, Judith A. and Susan M. Greenawalt, both of Annville, and Anne Allwein Alex of Lincoln University; four brothers, Paul of Buffalo, NY, Robert of Allentown, Joseph of Arlington, Va., and Herman of Denver; and four sisters, Sister Mary Louise Allwein of Columbia, Mary Sattazahn of Lebanon and Clare Barbini of Norfolk, VA,; and nine grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in his church. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Kramer Funeral Home, Annville, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Legion of Mary, c/o his church, 125 S.
