    2. Marion Louise Allwein is the daughter of Raphael E. Allwein and Sara M. Carpenter. Lebanon Daily News, Lebanon, PA Saturday October 27, 1956 MARION ALLWEIN, WILLIAM BLEISTINE WED The marriage of Miss Marion Louise Allwein and William Ray Bleistine took place at ten o'clock this morning in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Rev. Anthony Burakowski officiated, using the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Sara M. Allwein, 427 North Gannon St., and Raphael E. Allwein, 523 Cumberland St., The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. William J. Bleistine of 421 North Gannon St. The church was decorated with palms, bouquets of mums and pompons and a white bridal carpet. Guests were present from Lancaster, Collegeville, Indiana, Philadelphia and Nanticoke. The bride was attired in an ankle-length gown of lace and illusion. The fitted bodice had a scalloped Sabrina neckline and long, tapering sleeves. The bouffant skirt of lace was tiered in back with illusion outlined by scalloped lace and topped with a large white satin bow and streamers. Her fingertip veil of illusion was attached to a seed pearl and net cap. She wore a pearl necklace and carried a Bible with glamellias and streamers. Mrs. Donald Kern, as matron of honor for her sister, wore a gown of blue nylon net with a lace bodice and a lace bolero. She wore a matching headpiece and carried a cascade bouquet of white and blue carnations. Miss Mary Levengood, friend of the bride, served as bridesmaid. She wore a shrimp-colored gown of nylon lace over nylon net, with matching bolero in lace and a matching headpiece. She carried a cascade of white and yellow carnations. The best man was Andrew Voytush, brother-in-law of the groom. Richard Bleistine, the groom's brother was the usher. The men wore midnight blue tuxedos. The groom's boutonniere was a white carnation. The best man's was a blue carnation and the usher's yellow. The bride's mother was seen in a winter white dress and black accessories. The groom's mother wore a navy blue dress and pink accessories. Both wore purple orchid corsages. A wedding reception for approximately 150 guests is being held at the R-Field and Stream Club, Weavertown. The newly married couple will be at home at 523 North Ninth Street. The new Mrs. Bleistine is a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and is employed at the South Side Flower Shop. The groom, a graduate of Lebanon High School, is employed by the Textile Printing and Finishing Company. Cousin Nancy
