Mary Elizabeth Allwein is the daughter of Paul Aloysius Allwein and Annie L. Shay. Lebanon Daily News, Lebanon, PA Monday October 9, 1961 COUPLE WED SATURDAY AT ST. MARY'S The marriage of Miss Mary E. Allwein and Paul R. Sattazahn was solemnized at two o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Assumption of the Blesses Virgin Mary Church. The Rev. James Noel performed the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Paul A. Allwein of 426 N. Sixth St. The groom is the son of Mrs. Agnes C. Sattazahn of 131 S. Second St. and William Sattazahn of California. Given in marriage by her brother, Robert Allwein, the bride was seen in a white satin brocade street length gown. Her headpiece was a coronet with a veil. She carried a white orchid on a Prayer Book. ATTENDANTS Mrs. Clare Barbini, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. She was attired in a turquoise satin peau de sole gown. She wore a coronet headpiece with a veil and carried a bouquet of yellow and white mums. Pierce Allwein, brother of the bride, was best man. A dinner for members of the immediate families followed the ceremony at the Gretna Timbers. After a honey moon in the Poconos, the couple will reside at 426 N. Sixth St. The new Mrs. Sattazahn is a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School. She is employed by Dr. J. F. Loehle. A graduate of Annville High School, the groom was employed by the Quaker Alloy Casting Company prior to his being recalled to active duty with the U. S. Army.
