I also have a new email - I can be reached at trishgwtw@erols.com I was also poking around cemetaries the other weekend and took photos of several Allwein gravestones - including Conrad's which is barely readable - his wife Catharine's is totally unreadable-I know it is hers because several years ago I remember reading it - I could kick myself for not taking a photo back then. I will scan the photos in and forward them to Christine for the website. REUNION News - The Francis & Amanda Allewin Reunion is scheduled for Sunday, September 24th at Coleman's Park, Lebanon, PA. Francis was my great great grandfather and the son of John Henry who was the son of Philip and Elizabeth Allwein. The reunion was started in the 1940's to bring together all of Francis' children for father's day - and it hasn't missed a year yet (except I remember one year only a few diehards were there in the rain!). Anyway - it has since moved to September and is open to all Alwine/Allweins. Last year we had several of Ted Allwein's family attend. Registration tarts at 10:00 am, lunch is at noon - it is a potluck lunch so there is plenty of food for all! There are also games etc... and I usually bring all of my family history stuff to share.
