Lebanon Daily News, Thursday, September 7, 2000 Lawrence R. Whitman Lawrence R. "Larry" Whitman, 58, formerly of 505 Lehman St., Lebanon, died of natural causes Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000 in Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon. He was the husband of Sandra Allwein Whitman of Lebanon. Born Dec. 4, 1941, in Lebanon, he was a son of the late William E. Sr. and Christine Houser Whitman. He enjoyed fishing, baseball and football and worshipped in the Protestant faith. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters Michelle, wife of Andrew Pete, and Lori, wife of Brad Seyfert, both of Lebanon; sisters Elsie Sovar of Lebanon and Linda, wife of Steve Hess of Everett; a brother, William E. Whitman Jr. of Lebanon; three grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence R. Whitman Jr. His funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Rohland Funeral Home, Fifth and Cumberland streets, Lebanon. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
