I am trying to find information on Rev. Jacob G. Collins, b 1 Jun 1801 in Edgefield Co, SC d 4 Dec 1859 in Oak Hills, Wilcox Co, AL. He married 27 Jan 1825 in Wayne Co MS Mary Ann King b 1805 NC. She moved to Colorado Co TX with her daughter Elizabeth and son in law Walter Collins Harriss. He was the son of Thomas James Harriss. Rev. Collins last church was supposely the Antioch Baptist Church at Snow Hill, Wilcox Co, AL. I am also interested in a son of his Rev. Powhatan E. Collins b 1825 in MS. I found him in the 1860 Mobile Co AL census, but haven't been able to find him in later census records. Pat Fite
