I sent you an e-mail early this morning with some of the info. I do know that Lewis Langham took Joseph L Thompson to court for An Kathrine's part in the estate of James Thompson. James, Benjamine Davis, Ann Kathrine, and Benjamin's wife all died at same time in some kind of sickness that was going around then. Joseph L Thompson was left as ex. of estate. Info I found from Charles L Langham's family was that his first wife and children died of flu or something in LA before he moved to Matagorda Co, TX and there married 2 wife. I have Orphan Court Records for Ann Kathrine's children too, but can't put my fingers on it right now.... I found lots of info there in Wilcox Co. Don't know anything about Boarding School for Ann Kathrine's children, but Wilber James Hughs Thompson, my gg grandfather and son of Benjamin Davis Thompson, was educated by private tutors as were all the older Thompson/Langham children. Evedently, Wilbur James Hughs Thompson and Charles Langham kept in touch as WJH son is the one that told me about Charles Langham. Charles was one of the first rice farmers in Matagorda Co, TX. But quit that and became the County Clerk for many years in Matagorda County, TX.
