Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/EhD.2ACIB/242 Message Board Post: I have conclusive evidence that Jesse Council Bethea was maried to Elizabeth Henry and not Cynthia Henry her sister. I have come into possession of a Henry family tree drawn by Judge John Kelly Henry Jr.,brother to Elizabeth and Cynthia, in 1850. His tree identifies the husband of Elizabeth Henry as Jesse Bethea. Cynthia's husband's name is blurred and unreadable but I have other evidence that Cynthia Henry married a Carlton Stevens in Hancock County Ga in 1818. They moved along with the Henry family to Al in that same year. Also there is a C. Stevens listed with Cynthia Stevens on page 727 of the 1850 Wilcox County census. The tree also states that Elizabeth also married a McMillan as a second spouse and that all were dead by 1850.
