Do you know if these Carrolls connected with those in Freestone Co., TX? Thanks! Mike

According to the census my great grandfather Noah Alexander Carroll's parents were from SC and NC. The census says he was born in Al. But I have not found any mention of his parents. My aunt says they were from TX but my mother says grandmother said FL. Boy am I confused.
