    3. http://www.afrigeneas.com/success_stories.html THE AFRIGENEAS BOOK OF SUCCESS STORIES True Stories about Searching, Discovering, and Connecting with Our Roots Part of the mission at AfriGeneas has always been to encourage and support all African ancestored individuals and families to begin and continue researching their roots until all resources have been exhausted and the results have been published. To that end we have provided the resources, the leadership, the promotion, advocacy and the community for our mutual development. More than ten years ago, we started as a bulletin board with only a handful of people. Over the years, the bulletin board evolved into a mailing list, then chat rooms, a website, message boards and databases. Along the way we’ve touched and been touched by thousands of searchers. Today, we are poised to take the next step in the journey. AfriGeneas is proud to announce the first in a planned series of AfriGeneas books that will inspire, encourage and educate beginning and experienced genealogists, especially those searching for their African roots. We are looking for your true stories of genealogical success, however you define it, and at any stage of your research. Inspire! Encourage! Educate! Share!
