Neville, born in abt. 1805 in Halifax Co., NC, died in 1865 in Camden, Wilcox Co., AL. I would like to find out from whom in Halifax Co., NC he got the name "Hillman". My ancestor, Elijah Hillman Green, was born about the same time in the same neighborhood in Halifax Co., NC and I have been unable to identify his parents. I believe that both men were named for the same Hillman family. Any information from descendents of Hillman Neville on how he came to be named will be appreciated.
