Alberta, in Wilcox County, is on the far north part of Wilcox County, on the border with Dallas County. Located on State Highway 5 where it intersects with County Highway 29, northwest of Camden, and northeast of Catherine. It is located on Chilatchee Creek, which forms the county border. You might look in the enumeration of Wilcox Co., which contains the towns of Catherine, or Gastonburg is even closer. Since Alberta is on the county line with Dallas County, she could have lived in Dallas, look in Safford, Donald, or Cental Mills area. > -----Original Message----- > From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com [mailto:gc-gateway@rootsweb.com]On Behalf > Of grannyhogans@hotmail.com > Sent: Friday, April 11, 2003 10:33 AM > To: ALWILCOX-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [ALWILCOX-L] annie whiten > > > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: whiten > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/DU.2ADE/295 > > Message Board Post: > > Does anyone know where Alberta, AL was counted in the > 1930 census.
