I am searching for info about Arthur I. Ingram who married Ida B. Cone, daughter of Pvt. Jessie Emerson and Carolyn Emerence Pharr Cone. Arthur was born in 1871. From the info I have received, I think Arthur lived in Pine Apple, Al., and then perhaps Mobile, Alabama. Would like to know if Arthur is related to Isaac Ingram who also lived in Pine Apple or nearby. Isaac is the son of William and Bythenia Lee Ingram who lived in first in Johnston County, N. Carolina, then Dallas County, Alabama, and then Lowndes County, Al. Thank you for an info. I have two leads indicating that two of my ancestors are tracks can be found in Wilcox County: (1) Mary Ann Amanda Doak, wife of S. M. Doak, is supposed to be buried in the Lower Peachtree Cemetery, but there's conflicting information--one source says it's in Wilcox County, and another says it's in Dallas County, so I'm wondering (a) if there is a cemetery by that name in Wilcox County, and if so, (b) whether there is an indexed list of those buried there. (2) My great-grandfather, Dr. S. M. Doak, had a brother, Nathaniel, who lived in Wilcox County. Nathaniel's will is supposed to have been probated there, sometime between 1850 and 1880, but I'm not sure exactly when. His name is not shown in the index to Will Books #1, #3, and #4 found on the Wilcox County genweb site. Is anyone available to do a lookup for his will and mail a photocopy if it's there? Thanks, Robert Oakley
