Can anyone tell me anything about James Kirkpatrick and/or Old Prospect Cemetery which I understand is maybe in Jasper? I haven't seen any documentation but I have been told this was the first husband of Catherine Elizabeth Kiker (1859-1961), who later married an Avery. I am further told Kirkpatrick died in 1895 and is buried in Old Prospect Cemetery. I need to get up there in the next couple of months and have been given directions to it; one in Winston County and one in Walker County. I believe Walker County is correct.
