I am sorry to say that I don't have knowledge as to where William and Minerva are buried. I have dates of birth for Penninia as August 29, 1836 in Alabama, date of death as March 15, 1916 in Alabama. These dates are from her grave marker at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayette County, Alabama. Her marker has the surname of Russell, so I would say that her last marriage would have been to James R. Russell. Another source has given her name as Simmons as married to Russell. And yet another source other than yourself has given the surname Swindle, that I also show. I don't have either of the dates of marriage and show her with ten children by James Russell, born from about 1863 to December 1882. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan & Paula Harry" <DHARRY@pa.rr.com> To: <alwalker@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2008 2:22 PM Subject: Re: [ALWALKER] ALWALKER Digest, Vol 3, Issue 67 > Okay....Penninnia's sister Elizabeth Kilgore married Wiley Davis and they > were my great, great grandparents. > > I have 2 husbands for Penn. Thanks, again. Any of Penn's brothers and sisters listed in those church records? I have names, but not much else. Paula
Thanks! Anything I can fill in for you? I have her brothers and sisters and quite a bit on the Patton's also. Let me know if you have any questions. Paula
I would appreciate whatever you may have on the Kilgore, Russell and Swindle Surnames as connected. I would like to have Minerva's parents and whatever info you may have on them as well as Minerva. Please write me direct at dlgjmk@bellsouth.net I live in Warrior, Alabama which is in Jefferson County, which adjoins Walker County. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan & Paula Harry" <DHARRY@pa.rr.com> To: <alwalker@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2008 3:35 PM Subject: Re: [ALWALKER] ALWALKER Digest, Vol 3, Issue 67 > Thanks!
