I have a William Kilgore, born about 1810 in South Carolina. He married Minerva Patton, born 1815 in Tenn. Their daughter, Elizabeth married into the Davis family of Fayette Co. Does any of this sound familiar?? Thanks. Paula
James R. Russell married Penninia Kilgore, D/O William Kilgore and Minerva Patton. A daughter of James and Penninia Russell, Cordelia D. Russell, married Rasmus W. Sanford, half-brother to my maternal grandmother, Willie Aretta Sanford Clifton. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan & Paula Harry" <DHARRY@pa.rr.com> To: <alwalker@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, October 25, 2008 9:42 PM Subject: Re: [ALWALKER] ALWALKER Digest, Vol 3, Issue 67 >I have a William Kilgore, born about 1810 in South Carolina. Okay....Penninnia's sister Elizabeth Kilgore married Wiley Davis and they were my great, great grandparents. I have 2 husbands for Penn. The other was James Wesley Swindle and they had a son J.W., Jr. Which was first? The dates I have for her are 1841 to 1916 and was she born in Walker Co.? Do you know where William and Minerva are buried?? Thanks! Paula
