The cert of death, again from familysearch.org, not the copy of the original, shows that Ralph is the son of Guy and Flora. Ralph won't show on a census since his death cert indicates he was born ca 1925 and died at Children's Hosp in B'ham in 1927. John, you named the children and stated that one boy died at age two.
