I want to add a very positive reason to give family information on this list. We can browse or search the list for all postings sent since the "beginning of time :)" This has been very helpful to me because old postings often have the info I was needing but that person who posted may no longer be a list member. Old list members forget this source and new researchers may not be aware of it. Go to http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/ALWALKER/ and you can do the search - or browse in each month and year. If looking at another list just change the county/list name (ALWALKER to ALBIBB). And what makes the search easier? Having the subject fit the posted information. "Need help" or "looking for family" does not give a clue as to what is in that post. "Kitchens and Hamilton family" or something similar lets the searcher know that the post will probably have some useful information. Food for thought? Caroline
