I am looking for information on my third great-grandfather Elijah T. Wilson, born 1806, possibly in Tennessee. He married Jane F. McBrayer Jan 1830 in Blount Co., AL. Hi son, my great-great-grandfather, John Henderson Wilson, was born 1839 in DeKalb Co., AL. The family moved to Walker Co. by 1860, when John Henderson Wilson married Sarah Ann Barton. Jane McBrayer's death date is unknown. There was a family Bible but the page was torn where her death date would be. Elijah's death date is known. There is an Elijah Wilson in the 1880 Walker Co., AL census. His wife is Malinda born 1839, two children Jane born 1869 and Joshua born 1871. This would make Elijah in his 60's when these children were born. Not impossible, but? Does anyone know about this Elijah? The rest of the Mize/Revis/Wilson/Barton family went from Walker and Winston counties to Oklahoma in 1888. Does anyone know the death date of Jane McBrayer Wilson?
