Bob, chalk it up to having bronchitis or having a senior moment...not Robbins, but Vernon...I was thinking of my great aunt and her name was Vaner Robbins, the daughter of John Marion Miller and Caroline Vernon..Linda -----Original Message----- From: BOB BINSTEIN <just-4bob@msn.com> To: alwalker@rootsweb.com Sent: Thu, 21 May 2009 8:53 am Subject: Re: [ALWALKER] IS ANYONE OUT THERE? Sara, What Knight are you from. My great great grandmother Letta married Greenberry Jenkins from Walker. -- Julie Mangum Hedberg http://www.jenkinsmckeefamilytree.com
Matilda Knight from Laurens District SC married John Gant. Matilda is believed to be sister of Charner Knight also from Laurens and in Walker County before 1850. After 1850 John Gant and his children lived in the Beat Ten area of Walker County. John was my g-g-grandfather. Matilda died before 1850. I have no Letta so far, but could be related. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Julie Hedberg" <sammiesam2@gmail.com> To: <alwalker@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, May 24, 2009 4:09 PM Subject: Re: [ALWALKER] IS ANYONE OUT THERE? > Sara, > > What Knight are you from.
