Hi Ora Mae----a blog is different from a website because it allows for everyone to put their opinion in. It allows for discussion of genealogical interesting events and issues and study. Often people can share info and photos and data by their posts. Lets say you wanted to share a picture of your Great Grandfather and his years serving in the military. On the WCGS site you can post the photo and then each member shares what they might know or other photos they might have of interest. There is the opportunity to learn more about what is happening with so with the same regional interests. I was fortunate to make exceptional friends and friendships that have enriched my life and my study.
