He died near Bullard, Texas on April 14, 1939.  Thomas Richard Ivey married Iona Pate at Fayette County TN on October 23, 1885. Iona Pate was born July 9, 1870 near Jasper, Alabama. Reminder to all that a clean up day will be held at the Old Warrior River Cemetery in the Beat 10, Tutwiler Community on Saturday, May 23, 2009. The old cemetery is in pretty good shape for it's age. The cleanup is in preparation for a Confederate Memorial Service to be held on June 21, 2009 honoring the Confederate solders buried there. More on that later. I am looking for information on my third great-grandfather Elijah T. Wilson, born 1806, possibly in Tennessee. He married Jane F. McBrayer Jan 1830 in Blount Co., AL. Hi son, my great-great-grandfather, John Henderson Wilson, was born 1839 in DeKalb Co., AL. The family moved to Walker Co. by 1860, when John Henderson Wilson married Sarah Ann Barton. Jane McBrayer's death date is unknown. There was a family Bible but the page was torn where her death date would be. Elijah's death date is known. There is an Elijah Wilson in the 1880 Walker Co., AL census. His wife is Malinda born 1839, two children Jane born 1869 and Joshua born 1871. This would make Elijah in his 60's when these children were born. Not impossible, but? Does anyone know about this Elijah? The rest of the Mize/Revis/Wilson/Barton family went from Walker and Winston counties to Oklahoma in 1888. Does anyone know the death date of Jane McBrayer Wilson? Before now available indexes only went to 1959. This index includes names of the deceased but also indexes the names of the parents of the deceased. This index is included as part of the LDS project to index its 2.4 million microfilm reels, frame by frame. This index, therefore, already includes much more than just this wonderful index to Alabama death certificates. To access this resource go to Familysearch.org, then go to "Search"; under Search click on "Record Search Pilot." No, the certificate itself isn't available, as it is with some states, but the printed info is better than nothing.
