GREETINGS!!!!!!!! Who is in favor of the city making a historic park down on the area where the city owns the land where the Bama Belle is docked. What must it be called? The Eddins Memorial Park is what it must be named. Who has the authority to name it? No doubt it is counselmen Potts, Cunningham, Taylor, Powell, Kinder and Lee Garrison. How many citizens with knowledge of local history was appointed to the Riverwalk project by the powers to be? Why was there not a member of the Heritage Commission of Tuscaloosa County? Do we have any one that has a knowledge of local history that is Qualified to be appointed? Well counclemen did the city have any one? I hope and pray that each of you will write, call, e-mail and talk to your Member of The city GOVERNMENT and ask them, the city government, to please name it the Eddins Memorial Park as he was only local citizen to give his life defending our city.
